Today was his last dose of his three months nebulised antibiotics. I never thought we'd make this long that first week, as we had to wrestle him at first, then we switched models and it was like he did it all his life. Now we wait a few weeks to see if the bacteria's gone!

Jax has been getting into Lego over Christmas and this helps so much with his anxiety. Keeps him focused and its something we do together. We have a big Statue of Liberty 🗽 to start soon. But so pleased he’s found something to focus on

I hope you're all enjoying your Christmas/festive time. We did something we didn't think possible until recently, we went abroad! For the first time as a family, we went on a plane, and, we went to Dubai to visit family for Christmas. Boys enjoyed every second of it too!

This was how Jax ended up Christmas afternoon he was in so much pain with his colitis it absolutely wiped him out luckily he was able to enjoy the morning and a little of his Christmas dinner .

@IcelandFoods Why are you charging £8 delivery for Christmas Eve ? food prices are high enough already and from Monday £7 delivery ?? Don’t you make enough profit all year round if the delivery money was donated then that would be different any answers Iceland ?

Lovely night at @AcornsHospice tonight ….the work they do for families is fantastic. When Olivia goes for respite she genuinely loves it there and they are amazing with her and the care is second to none! They are also wonderfully supportive with the siblings who are on this journey too ❤️❤️

Fantastic news from Stoke as the Warrior Princess is now out of intubation, been estimated and on bipap oxygen. She never ceases to amaze me with her fighting spirit, courage and strength and is now hopefully on the right road to get back home for cuddles and snuggles ❤️❤️❤️

After 13 months of pure hell at his secondary school things are finally starting to look better . A few weeks into homeschooling and he’s so much happier . His spark is coming back. His silly banter and funny side is coming back . He is no longer sad and withdrawn at the fact of returning to the place that made his life hell . Refusing a child the use of a toilet 🚻 in any situation is disgusting but refusing a child whos stoma bag needs emptying is a new level . Refusing a child to leave a classroom when there having a panic attack and cant breathe, telling him he makes the room look untidy because he cannot tuck his shirt in due to his stoma bag “as he wears it outside of his trousers “ honestly i have kept my mouth shut for far to long and i wish i had removed him much sooner but i was so scared removing him from education. Giving my time to help educate my son is nothing when im seeing a huge glimmer of the old Jax . Onwards and upwards im feeling so much more positive its not removing his education its giving him a better education. #homeschool #homeschooling #onwards #upwards #positivity #discrimination #nochildshouldsuffer #MentalHealthMatters

So we've had an eventful half term! Photoshoot for the @cftrust Halloween at our favourite play cafe Then a trip to Dinostar and Little Astronauts Rufus' cough swab was clear, but now we've got the side effects of the strong antibiotics to content with! Both boys soldier on!

Warrior Princess Update 👸 Olivia was taken very poorly and intubated yesterday and blue-lighted over to Royal Stoke University Hospital where she will be treated for her severe chest infection. She was fighting it as bravely as she could but needed help and to give her body a rest. She is currently on a ventilator but early signs are promising and it will be a very slow and steady process. I’d like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at both @RWT_NHS and @StaffsChildrens who have been simply incredible in their care for my daughter. Thank you too for all of your kind words and please say a prayer for the Warrior Princess as she needs us all more than ever now ❤️🙏
