@wintrewolf I recently had a realization that this was a promo image for the season, but he’s done nothing on this level (at least not on screen) which mostly implies to me that there’s no budget. Like they can’t have any kind of epic moment because the show can’t afford it.

i thought this was gonna be a genuine turning point in the series, that all this praise homelander got for slaughtering a civilian in broad daylight meant he would feel free to become the absolute worst and most terrifying version of himself.
he still hasn’t done that yet.

@HMBohemond Stopped playing it after their first patch on March 6th (or so) that nerfed the Railgun. Instead of fixing enemy spawn issues and making other builds viable, they made the only fun weapon ass.
I knew back then they had no idea wtf they were doing.

Part of me is convinced Helldivers 2 is balanced around the fact they tried to make the game to "satirize fascism" but did it so poorly they made Super Earth the good guys. So they go out of their way to make you weaker and weaker out of sheer, childish spite. And every time the same thing happens. The game gets worse and they have to backtrack to save it because the players write their paychecks.
Every new warbond trailer being the Helldivers dying, team killing each other and SEAF as of the latest trailer just reinforces this viewpoint.
