No (serious) animal rights activist in Serbia is against things you mentioned. Here animal rights is the law side and welfare is the field side, but we call it all animal rights.

@ReuelWilliams3 As someone interesting in ecology I'm more of a fan of animal welfare than animal 'rights' because the animal rights movement is against controlling invasive species, to the detriment of our environment. Many are also against owning pets even though it's mutually beneficial.
