The worst part of last night’s choke job from the Pacers, are all the “coaches” on Twitter acting like they know better than Rick fkn Carlisle 😂 😂 You’ve never coached a day in your life. Anyone can say “do something different” in hindsight. Rick’s coaching has us 10-3 in the playoffs and 2 wins away from our first finals birth in a quarter century. I’ve coached 25+ teams. Standing on the sidelines and figuring it out IN THE MOMENT is what a lot of yall think you can do. Sit back and enjoy greatness. Last night fucking sucked. We are in great shape. Go Pacers!!!!!!!!!

In case you’re wondering.. The refs were gonna call false start on raiders (nullifies play), but refs changed the flag to illegal motion so the play still counted, and the chiefs fumble recovery counts. Fun league.

Respectfully, anyone who thinks lowering the rims for the WNBA is a good idea, or actually feasible, is wrong. You can’t throw away decades of girls practicing on 10 foot rims. Also, and here’s the big one, there is no way, across the nation that schools would be able to move the gymnasium goals between games, practices, etc. Most goals are set in place, because nobody would ever think to lower them. 🤦‍♂️

It wouldn’t have changed the outcome of the game. However, what is the NFL doing here limiting its own officials from reviewing a play? They’ve got to change the rules. It’s ridiculous. I’ll say it again. All plays should be able to be challenged and reviewed in all 60 minutes. And that includes blatant non-calls like missed face masks & missed PIs. Don’t increase the challenge flags. You won’t have abuse. And give refs the ability to do it to get the calls right if it’s a case like this where they knew they might have missed something & hands were tied. You’ll have more correctly called games. Isn’t that the point?!? Why do we have replay technology if it can only arbitrarily be used at certain times and on certain plays? This seems like an easy & obvious fix.

Pistons could be a sneaky team to make the play-in. I think we were fortunate Thompson was out, or the result may have been different. They are a good team.
