@mcuban I think the goal for every team should be 46-50 wins. People don’t realize 50 wins is a very solid NBA season. Over the last five years, only of four teams per year have won over 51 games. The Kings didn’t have a winning season for 17 years and decided 48 and 46 wasn’t enough.

@GregBerge Never take marriage advice from people who’ve never been married. Never taking parenting advice from people who have never parented. A parent/child relationship is nothing like a coach/player relationship. One last 2-3 years, the other lasts generations. Very different objectives

I love Steve Lappas, he's great at his job. It's problematic that he's unaware why Michigan just let the ball roll for a while. Nothing to do with getting full 30 sec shot clock as much as the game clock continues to run, and when you're up big, clock running is your friend.

@JaymalGreen You can blame the mayor, but this happened in DC inside Union Station in front of Capitol police & Secret Service police at 5pm on the day of the State of the Union. It also happened the next day at the same time outside Capital One Arena as people arrived for a hockey game.

@Agent1Security You’re sadly mistaken if you think this is a Chicago issue. I was in DC a few weeks ago and the kids did this at 5pm inside Union Station. They did the same thing the very next day right outside Capital One Arena. Yes, it is embarrassing and disgusting.

@officer_Lew Was in DC three weeks ago. The kids did this at 5:00pm at Union Station. Did the same thing two days later at the same time outside of the NBA/NHL arena. This is bigger than your mayor/governor. It’s a parenting issue and it’s disturbing.

@Hellsangel8081 @LeeMerrittesq I was pulled over less than a mile from there last year for speeding and was given a warning. Been in the area over 15 years and there aren’t any issues. There wasn’t even anything going on for her to start recording. She was trying to illicit a response the whole time.

This traffic stop in Hurst was not a misunderstanding. It was a violent encounter that left my client, a Black mother, ripped from her car by the neck in front of her child and covered in bruises to her neck, arms, and body as a result of that force. The department has already tried to clear Officer Brandon Morgan, but the footage and my client’s injuries tell a different story. In a recent segment, WFAA spoke with law enforcement expert Dr. Alex del Carmen, who reviewed the video and stated that this officer’s actions were prohibited by policy and never should have occurred. When internal reviews excuse conduct that violates both policy and basic standards of care, it signals that brutality is acceptable so long as it is carried out in uniform. My client is left with trauma and visible injuries while those responsible are shielded from real consequences. Officer Brandon Morgan deserves to be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law for the harm done to this woman and her family. @LeeMerrittesq Policy violated once she requested a supervisor and he denied it. She could've held her cool after thinking she was being profiled, for the safety of her son. The officer lost it and opened the dept up to a lawsuit when he lost his cool.

I'm middle class, no way I could take the chance on 1 or 2 $30,000 tuitions without knowing if I got a voucher 1st. When you accept a spot at a private school, you sign a legally binding contract that you will pay the tuition. You can't just say, "oops, I changed my mind" in June when you discover that you didn't get a voucher.
