@CrossanBrendan All the best for the future, Brendan. Always enjoyed reading your columns and copy, especially on Donegall Street when I got a glimpse before anyone else. Top class
After 26 incredible years I've decided to leave The Irish News at the end of the inter-county season.
I couldn't have given it more - and The Irish News couldn't have given me more. It was a match made in heaven. For the next while, there's a bit more writing in me yet.

#cunha with a snide driving elbow to the back of an #Ipswich coaches head, followed by grabbing his face and glasses. Great player but you can’t do that @FA_PGMOL#WOLIPS
@damacious843@UlsterGAA@FermanaghGAA@Armagh_GAA Infamous ending but I don't recall being there. I do remember watching F Wray playing in minor game in Irvinestown for county, could have been curtain raiser to that 🤔

Back in 1993, @FermanaghGAA 🟩⬜️ & @Armagh_GAA 🟧⬜️ drew 1-09 apiece in a First Round tie at Irvinestown.
In the replay at the Athletic Grounds, the Erne men led 1-15 to 1-7 in the closing stages, but Armagh stormed back to clinch a 4-08 to 1-16 victory!
@CrossanBrendan@irishnewssport Excellent Brendan, good memories of good people in there. Great place to learn, even an introduction to cricket and fast bowling with makeshift stumps set up by Armagh's finest down at the sports dept. Quality
24 years of memories, good times, some losses, plenty of laughter and an ode to the Chuckle brothers of Donegall Street... #TheBootRoom
Brendan Crossan: So long, Donegall Street - I loved everything about you via @irishnewssportirishnews.com/sport/gaafootb…
No better time for it, so some personal news: I'm leaving the Irish Mirror at the end of the month. I'll have been there 10 years on Saturday(!). Not sure what's next, I'm open to opportunities if anyone wants to get in touch. 🤙
It's only April but the Championship starts this weekend. Keep and eye out for our fantastic 68-page preview mag. On sale in your local shop for €4.95. Cheaper than a pint and it'll last a lot longer. Some great stuff in this from the sports team at @Reach_Ireland
