@mexopolis Sincerely, talking to myself while working. “Consulting” on how a scene is playing out or what I want to convey keeps me actively working, not just putting lines on the page. Emotionally charged music that fits what I’m working on (sometimes) helps as well

i need an artist who i can work with on a weekly basis and who can take a script, or a summary of a script, and turn it into suitable art for a thumbnail for an audio drama of that script mostly autonomously - that is, with minimal input from me.
i've tried commissioning artists a few times now, and it has been fun, but i do not feel like i have the right language to always get the outcome that i want. i do not think i am a very good client for artists working on commission, because so much of what i say is vague and vibe-based, and often i do not have any idea of what i want at all. i don't *want* to think about my characters visually - they exist in audio form only to me.
i suppose what i'm after is more like an artistic partner who gets the vibe automatically from the script/script summary alone and who can consistently bash things out week after week.
is there anybody out there?
(they would, of course, be paid)

loneliness can be a vicious cycle bc it makes you a lame hang. i have no chill. i can’t socialise casually if the tiniest bit of interaction is a huge deal to me, it makes things too intense. i’m sorry this is all i’m talking about at the moment, it won’t stop eating away at me.
