Disappointing to see the BC gov't saying that Indigenous-led conservation is the reason that the areas BC counts as protected may not be off-limits to industry For many years, BC has used a number of flawed conservation measures which don't support biodiversity or communities

We. Have. DATA!!!! Yesterday, we download 6 of 23 @Innovasea receivers in the Kowie Estuary, #SouthAfrica as part of @DmMukhari and @BantonyZiko PhD project, and 51 of 57 tagged mullet have been detected more than 220 000 times! And that's just 2 months of data 🤯
