One of the most troubling things about Trump’s second presidency is that the fraud & corruption has been completely normalized. There’s no call for accountability, let alone criminal investigation.
Andrew Heineman@drewheineman

Not included in this important NOTUS story, Trump “truthed” support for Palantir in early April—and even included the stock ticker symbol—right after he purchased a ton of Palantir shares in March. Shares jumped about 3% within minutes of the post.

HUFFMAN: Who is this arch for? BURGUM: The American people. And there are 68 capitals that have arches HUFFMAN: And we're gonna build one just a little taller than the one in Pyongyang, because someone in the White House insists ours be the biggest. And Trump said this arch is for him. We can enter that into the record if you like.

In this clip, Speaker Johnson says maps that gave Black voters representation "divided Americans." This is the exact language used by segregationists and opponents of the Civil Rights movement to attack figures like MLK. They are using the same playbook to destroy his legacy.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar

Mike Johnson defends egregiously gerrymandered maps like the new one in Tennessee, but then in the very next breath claims the Virginia map that was struck down "was a hastily drawn gerrymander that was unconstitutional"

Obama on the Iran nuclear deal today: “We pulled it off without firing a missile. We got 97% of their enriched uranium out. There’s no dispute that it worked. We didn’t have to kill a whole bunch of people or shut down the Strait of Hormuz.” $25 billion spent. 14 Americans dead. Oil at $119 a barrel. The world has one month of strategic reserves left. A UAE oil port on fire. Ships turning back at gunpoint. Trump called Obama’s deal the worst deal ever made. Then tore it up. Then started a war to get back to the same place.

Cornyn: “I don’t understand how the SAVE Act disenfranchises voters.” Durbin: “Driver’s licenses don’t qualify. 50% of Americans don’t have passports.” Cornyn: “Why not just amend it?” Durbin: “When’s the last time the Senate actually amended a bill?” Silence. The SAVE Act requires passport-level documentation to register to vote. 50% of Americans don’t have a passport. The people least likely to have one: the elderly, the poor, rural Americans, young first-time voters. The people most likely to have one: wealthy Americans..

The best way to convince people you aren’t praying before a golden idol would be to not pray before a golden idol.

Today at Trump National Doral Miami, we witnessed an unforgettable moment with the dedication of the 22-foot statue honoring President Donald J. Trump. Let me be clear: this is not a golden calf. We worship the Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone. This statue is a celebration of life. It is a symbol of resilience, freedom, patriotism, strength, and the will power to keep fighting for the future of America. It also stands as a reminder of the hand of God and His protection over President Trump’s life. Time and time again, when his life was threatened, God’s mercy prevailed. Today was not just a ribbon cutting. It was the public display of a powerful movement that has spread across America and around the world. I was deeply honored to serve as President Trump’s main point of contact throughout this process, and I do not take that assignment lightly. I want to personally thank Ash, Dustin Stockton, Brock Pierce, Hershey Friedman, Yaakov Filitchkin, Sam, Jack, and the 6,000+ Patriots who donated, believed, sacrificed, and made this historic moment possible. Thank you to the entire Trump Doral team for your incredible hospitality and excellence. And thank you, President Donald J. Trump, for calling me today and speaking to the crowd. We are forever grateful. God bless President Trump. God bless every Patriot. And God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸 #PresidentTrump #SpiritualDiplomats #TrumpDoral #TrumpStatueDedication #AmericaFirst #PatriotMovement #FaithFreedomPatriotism

It’s not a trick question. If you can’t say under oath that a president cannot serve a third term after having the 22nd Amendment read to you word‑for‑word, you have no business on the federal bench. And his refusal to do so is a warning that he will not uphold even the most basic limits on presidential power. For more on the broader pattern of treating constitutional limits as optional and relying on institutions to “somehow stop it” rather than actively defending democratic guardrails, see the Substack piece, “He Can’t Do That” Is a Hope, Not a Strategy.” zurl.co/ZIXsz

Scott MacFarlane on the FBI raid of Sen. Lucas’s home and office: There are going to be questions raised about how Fox News was there as the raid was undertaken. That type of thing is rare. I’ve covered the FBI for a lot of years and the Department of Justice for a lot of years—you don’t get advance warning of raids, in part because it’s viewed that it could put people in jeopardy, either the people being raided or the raiders. What’s more, it is prescribed in the Justice Manual: you do not give the media advance warning of a search unless it has high levels of approval. This has happened before, but in this case it clearly had a high level of approval. But look at the Justice Manual, then look at the images on the screen—you can see those two are not connected. What’s more, it really is telling that the Department of Justice is trying to take a megaphone to blast out this search. It’s clearly a political rival of the president’s. What’s more, they’re blasting this out while they keep behind closed doors what’s happening with the Epstein files. Howard Lutnick’s interview is behind closed doors, and there’s been no action by the Department of Justice to hear or amplify the voices of Epstein survivors.

Here is list of things that have gone silent or missing with this administration. 1. The rescued pilot from Iran. 2. $63 million in legal settlement funds from major media and tech companies for the "Trump Presidential Library." 3. Any clear motive or subsequent press briefings on the security failings of the secret service at Butler, PA. 4. Any public and legally justifiable rationale for the unprecedented transfer of Ghislaine Maxwell to a minimum security prison. 5. Any credible medical report or images with visible damage to Trump's ear. 6. Millions of documents from the Epstein Files. 7. Flashback: all relevant texts and communications from the Secret Service on January 6th, 2021 What else?

With just the cost of Trump's Iran war so far, we could have: 1.) introduced national day care for all 3- and 4-year-olds; and 2.) introduced free college education for all families earning less than $125,000 a year. Just a reminder of opportunity cost. nytimes.com/2026/03/21/opi…

A reminder while Republicans bitch about Democrats finishing the redistricting fight that they started: they’ve got full control of government— they can pass a law banning partisan gerrymandering any time they want to. They won’t. Republicans aren’t mad that gerrymandering exists; they’re mad that they’re not the only ones using it.

MacFarlane: You filed an amicus brief in this appeal by the January 6th seditious conspirators. What message are you trying to send? Raskin: The DOJ brought criminal prosecutions against the people who stormed the Capitol, who organized to storm the Capitol, who assaulted our officers. And then 1,600 of them were convicted. The president pardoned most of them. There were a handful he didn’t, because their crimes were so serious that he just commuted their sentences, but he didn’t want to grant them a pardon for all civil disabilities going forward. And those were Proud Boys and Oath Keepers. And now the DOJ is essentially flipping sides and saying they want to vacate their convictions. So I filed an amicus brief saying, well, if the DOJ wants to vacate their convictions—and of course it’s unopposed by the defendants—who’s going to be speaking up for the public interest? Who’s speaking up for the victims, the police officers, and other people who were injured in the attack? Who’s speaking up for the democracy that was under siege that day? And so the amicus brief that I filed just said they should appoint someone to be an objective, neutral amicus lawyer who can advise the court as to whether or not they should actually approve this motion to just dissolve and vaporize these criminal convictions.
