@D4rk_n3ws So you are telling me that you are able to turn photons which are inherently connected to U(1) into W and Z bosons which are inherently connected to SU(2) somehow? What is the mechanism of conversion here?

🧵 2/2 Practical implementation (conceptual hardware example): • Input: RF antenna or laser emitter producing a baseline U(1) wave. • Conditioning stage: Beam splitter + phase shifter (e.g., electro-optic modulator) + orthogonal polarizer. • Output: Single beam of SU(2) EM radiation. In fusion contexts, this has been proposed for RF plasma waves in Inertial Electrostatic Confinement (IEC) reactors—modulate the antenna output to turn plasma waves into ion-attracting SU(2) form, focusing beams and slashing input power needs (potentially 10-15× reduction in some parametric estimates for D-T or p-B11 reactions). 2. Resonant AC Drive Through Contra-Wound Toroidal Coils: Barrett identified a second hardware route: drive alternating current through a toroidal (doughnut-shaped) coil at one of its specific resonant frequencies determined by the toroid’s geometry and winding. The multiply-connected topology of the torus naturally supports non-Abelian phase factors (holonomies) that elevate the symmetry from U(1) to SU(2). Experiments have been designed (and partially executed) around this—contra-wound toroidal antennas to transmit and detect the conditioned radiation. At resonance, the circulating currents create field configurations where the magnetic vector potential A gains physical significance and couples non-trivially, producing the tensorial SU(2) fields. Laboratory investigations (e.g., Washington group and Froning’s setups) looked for anomalies like altered propagation, self-induced transparency effects, or unexpected force interactions consistent with higher-symmetry behavior. Nuances, Edge Cases, and Related Considerations • Not Universal: Ordinary free-space EM radiation stays U(1). Conditioning only occurs under these deliberate topological or modulation constraints. In vacuum or simple linear media, it reverts. • Distance and Strength: SU(2) EM acts over longer ranges than nuclear SU(2) weak fields but still requires proximity to ions or vacuum fluctuations to show effects (e.g., reduced repulsion in fusion plasmas). • Higher Groups: SU(3) is theoretically possible (even stronger analogy to strong force), but far less developed experimentally—most work stops at SU(2). • Experimental Status: Promising lab tests with toroids have shown hints of SU(2)-like emissions (resonant frequencies, non-Maxwellian behavior), but full validation is ongoing or unpublished in mainstream channels. No peer-reviewed “smoking gun” yet, partly because the community is niche. • Critiques and Implications: Some analyses flag group-theoretic subtleties (e.g., mapping U(1) to O(2) errors in related O(3) extensions), but the core SU(2) topological argument stands on Wu-Yang non-integrable phase factors. If real, implications cascade: fusion reactors with drastically lower input energy, propellantless space drives via vacuum coupling, even potential over-unity or zero-point extraction if A-field energetics interact with the quantum vacuum. Edge case: in strong gravitational or high-energy regimes, these conditioned fields might bridge classical EM to quantum vacuum engineering. Bottom line: Specially conditioned SU(2) EM radiation gives us a concrete, hardware-realizable way to push electromagnetism beyond 1864 Maxwell into non-Abelian territory. The phase/polarization modulation example (with its clean beam-splitter + modulator setup) is the most straightforward for lab replication or RF/plasma applications. The toroidal resonant drive offers a compact, antenna-style transmitter. Both open doors to rethinking energy, propulsion, and fusion from first principles.

🚨 Professor Jiang says the Iran conflict has been scripted to lead to the end of the world “The outcome has been pre-ordained. The outcome is to kill as many people as possible to destroy the entire global economy, to destroy Iran, to force the United States out of the Middle East, to destroy the Gulf nation states, to suck Turkey into the war, to lead to the creation of the greater Israel project and eventually pax Judeaica. Then eventually to create conditions for another world war where Russia and Iran attack Israel together which will usher in the end of the world.”

I packaged up the "autoresearch" project into a new self-contained minimal repo if people would like to play over the weekend. It's basically nanochat LLM training core stripped down to a single-GPU, one file version of ~630 lines of code, then: - the human iterates on the prompt (.md) - the AI agent iterates on the training code (.py) The goal is to engineer your agents to make the fastest research progress indefinitely and without any of your own involvement. In the image, every dot is a complete LLM training run that lasts exactly 5 minutes. The agent works in an autonomous loop on a git feature branch and accumulates git commits to the training script as it finds better settings (of lower validation loss by the end) of the neural network architecture, the optimizer, all the hyperparameters, etc. You can imagine comparing the research progress of different prompts, different agents, etc. github.com/karpathy/autor… Part code, part sci-fi, and a pinch of psychosis :)

@Meat_on_X @DaveShapi @TheRealAdamG No, the govt doesn't own Claude. Anthropic does. The govt is just renting it. So Anthropic CAN dictate. If the govt thinks AI is ready to do what they want, then the govt should create it's own AI or use an open source model and do what they want.

@adampatricknc @DaveShapi @TheRealAdamG You are missing the point. It is not up to Anthropic to decide if AI is ready for autonomous weapons or not. It’s up to the military to decide that. Anthropic doesn’t work on weapons and has no idea what “ready” even means from that perspective.

@DaveShapi @TheRealAdamG No, his demands make perfect sense. AI can't make ethical judgement calls at this point. And that's a perfectly reasonable ask before deploying AI for autonomous kill orders. Also mass surveillance. They say it's illegal, but at the same time spied on US citizens via the NSA
