Young bulls (yearlings and 2YO) need to be fed at a level that enables them to continue growing, rather than just maintaining their current weight. Bulls should reach 75% of their expected mature weight at 2 YOA.

For the first time ever, we will be starting a new year with more Blacks than Reds in our herd. We HAVE now entered that point of no return, from producing the better preferred coat color for our market, being Red.
From here forth, we’re on our own and starting to write a new chapter in our story. We’re turning the fresh pages of this very blank book where Blacks are the new Reds..!
