From the streets of Tehran to the heart of the European Parliament, the message is clear: Iran must be free. Iran will be free. The @Europarl_EN has overwhelmingly voted to back the aspirations of the Iranian people. We have called for decisive action to: • Stop the violence: End the brutal crackdown and mass killings of peaceful protesters. • Halt executions: Immediately stop the state-sanctioned killings used to silence dissent. • Free the brave: Release every imprisoned demonstrator and political prisoner. • Target the oppressors: Designate the IRGC as a terrorist organisation and hold those responsible accountable. To the courageous people of Iran: Even when cables are cut, we hear you. Even when blackouts fall, we see you. You are not alone. The European Parliament stands firmly with you.

Let me ask you a simple question: Where is the international law when people are killed in the streets in Iran? Where are the feminists supporting women’s rights against Islamist oppression? Where are the so-called Pro-Palestine activists demanding justice for the Iranian civilians who are currently being mass-executed in broad daylight? Right. Their hypocrisy is unbelievable. This is the history of the left. When human rights abuses do not fit their ideology, they are ignored. When the victims do not serve a political narrative, they are abandoned. The EU – it's time to act. Let's give the Iranian’s what they want and deserve. Let's invite Mr. @PahlaviReza to address the European Parliament – a unifying leader willing to transition the regime into a secular democracy.

I have been told that Crown Prince @PahlaviReza cannot be invited to speak at the European Parliament because it would be seen as an expression of support for monarchy. But who is being invited as the keynote speaker for next week’s plenary session in Strasbourg? The King of Spain. This is how the EU celebrates Spain’s 40 years of membership. Instead of celebrations, I believe it would be more important to help the Iranian people, who are currently being executed en masse. And this is why Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, who has lived in exile for 47 years, should be given the floor.

They turned on their phone flashlights and lit up the streets so the entire world could see how many of them there really are. You can kill the power. You can’t kill the will of the people. Every tyrannical regime makes this mistake. And it always ends the same way.

This is Tehran. Not a concert. Not a carnival. These mobile phones, raised and lit in unison, are not connected to the internet. Their connection to the world has been completely cut. They are rising up against the authoritarian and theocratic dictatorship ruling Iran. Hundreds have been gunned down over just the past few nights, yet they keep coming back to the streets. For freedom. For a better tomorrow. These hands, these lights moving through the darkness, are sending a signal to the world: See us. Do not abandon us in this darkness, without internet.
