I use wireframes for large and content-focused projects only.
It makes the design process leaner, preventing costly revisions later on.

We wireframed all 200+ screens on this project before even thinking about UI. People skip this step and wonder why their projects take forever. I know it sounds tedious but it's the only reason the high fidelity phase was really smooth. Once structure is locked you're just applying styles instead of debating layouts.
