Ryan Casey is someone who has been through a lot over the last few years and I've always admired the understated way in which he has stood his ground in the midst of an onslaught of bile from the Irish establishment.
The man is a hero who was unfairly defamed by an Irish media class who are out of touch with how ordinary people feel about the state of our immigration system in our country.

On Friday night, Cathal McCarthy played 80 minutes for Hull City in their FA Cup defeat to Chelsea and gave a very good account of himself at left centre-back against the world champions.
But just 364 days earlier, McCarthy was at UCD and began last season as an unused substitute in their 3-0 defeat to Wexford in the League of Ireland First Division.
In the space of a year, he’s gone from the bench in the First Division to lining out against one of the best teams in the world. A brilliant example of what hard work, patience and talent can do when you make the most of your opportunity.

I think Enzo Fernandez is finally ripe for a Real Madrid move. The physical levels he has shown in the past 2 seasons is astonishing, I genuinely didn’t think he’d be able to build that kind of physical capacity.

The atmosphere at Stamford Bridge is genuinely tragic. I don’t even blame tourists, day trippers and touts. There’s enough actual Chelsea in the Matthew Harding and Shed and it’s literal mumbling or silence whenever a song gets going.
