@PeteristheNewbl It doesn’t “need” a net but a net is nice to have for a couple reasons: 1. It catches the ball, slowing it’s descent so that it doesn’t bounce erratically after hitting the ground. 2. It creates a distinct sound so that there’s no question as to whether the ball went in or not.
