The Lagos date has disappeared from the tour schedule amid online backlash over her planned performance in Nigeria. So far, neither Tyla nor her team has publicly explained the decision. Me: I honestly wish Tyla had used this moment to address the xenophobic attacks in South Africa. That would have been a golden opportunity to win back the hearts of many Africans who have been disappointed by her silence. We wish her well. No hard feelings.
