@ctvottawa They're passing on a whole 0.1% of the decrease that we know was above 2.49%, claiming that they need it to cover "other municipal charges". 😡

This Liberal leadership race is going to be wild. As a reminder: basically anyone living in Canada can register (you don't need to be a citizen or permanent resident), and you need to be just 14 years old. The race can thus be easily hijacked by any number of special interests

@ReadsToo I think I'm in the middle... I can visualize some things but it doesn't always come naturally. When I'm reading, I rarely visualize characters but I often visualize the setting. It's so interesting to hear what others see or don't!

@ArielTroster Bike racks! I love to bike to a park, but would be nice to not have to park on a street sign. Plus, public washrooms, trees, bike tool stands. 🌳🚻🚲

@siokirkland I was really upset they cut the bus from the airport that goes right downtown (now have to switch at Hurdman and it's much longer). I used to always take the bus, now the Uber is way more convenient unfortunately.

Transit connections to the airport are not only important for travelers who might want a more affordable way to get into the city, but also for all of the people who work at the airport. I hope that in all of our bus route cuts we don’t lose routes like this. #Ottawa

It’s not the most convenient way to get to the airport, but I do appreciate that there’s a way to get to the airport by public transit and while our city probably assumes most people drive, the bus was actually quite full. #Ottawa

Mayor @Val_Plante announces plan to make a large section of Old Montreal car free by 2024. "Old Montréal will become a historic district where pedestrians are king, like what has happened in the historic centers of many cities around the world."

#polmtl #SommetClimatMtl
