@LesbianLynchie Great response from the interviewer or team, it may not be the best fit for you. I was also not expecting my response to be that long but I'm always happy to help interviewees when I can -and then I start rambling - because interviewing is tough!

@LesbianLynchie Change, goal-setting, mistakes, conflict, teamwork. So, you don't do/say the right thing every time? Everyone does. But what's an example of when that's happened and how you've overcome it? Also, if you convey that type of info and it's important to you, but you don't get a

Once again, @Cigna's asinine rules for PT approvals are getting in the way of achieving care goals. Let's see how long this next round of visit approvals will take. Or maybe it'll be like the time I injured my hamstring and they determined it wasn't impacting me enough to matter!

As much as #ADHD is a disability, it’s equally a superpower. 😎 I work to reduce the negative effects and past trauma of my ADHD and lean into parts of my ADHD that provide me unique skills others may not have.

I was dxed at 20 because my OBGYN took me seriously. But so many people with uteruses are told their symptoms are normal. As a reminder, periods >7 days, changing hygiene products every 1-2 hrs, passing quarter-sized+ clots and severe pain may be a sign that something is wrong!

Stop telling women that they are too young to have endometriosis or have surgery for endometriosis. I recently operated on a 20 year old with endometriosis on her diaphragm, yes, endometriosis nodules all the way up to where her heart and lungs live. Believe women!

Does anyone else refuse to fill out vague forms from their insurance company? I just got a letter to verify I'm not being treated for a work-related injury, but it doesn't tell me what services this inquiry relates to. No thanks 🙅🏼‍♀️ #HealthInsurance #Healthcare

@neonmark I told my boss before I had paperwork a few years ago because we were about to have our monthly department meeting where we'd talk about what we were doing and I couldn't pretend I was going to be there 😂 But I'd reschedule if you have the flexibility

@amandaaxoxoo So cute ❤️ My partner and I met when we were freshmen in college, had our first date at 18 and were "official" just after we both turned 19. It's so wild to look back in time and see how we've both grown over the years. Happy early anniversary, you two!

It’s crazy to me that Prest and I have been together since a little before his 19th birthday. He’s 26 today and our 7 year anniversary is next week 🥲

@orpheus_chick @DrJenGunter Pharmacogenomic tests do exist and can be useful for psych, oncology and pain meds, among others. Some these include Factor 5 Leiden (clotting), which may be a contraindication for some birth control pills. Otherwise these tests may not be sufficient for birth control selection.

Blood work is not needed to start hormonal contraception
Rob@haddypdaddy

@AKBrews That’s concerning to do without bloodwork monitoring. It’s not prescription for extortion. Some women don’t respond well to estrogen BC.

Don’t forget if you look directly at the solar eclipse without appropriate eye protection, your eyeballs will burst into flames. It will hurt quite a bit.

@Imani_Barbarin So why is it hard to think, "Oh, the mage's spine was crushed in battle and healers couldn't get to him until the enemy was gone and at that point it was too late for him to fully recover?" Not that there ever needs to be an explanation for the existence of disabled people!

@Imani_Barbarin Aragorn did the best he could given the situation. But ultimately, Frodo was rushed to Rivendell in part because he was not healing and Elrond would be his best bet at being healed. But even being healed by an Elven King was not enough to fix him long term.

The only thing people can imagine about disabled people is our deaths and they’re usually the cause of it.
