It’s important to remember … that for some people, the holidays are hard. While some have had a relaxing break, others have had a stressful one. Be gracious with those around you today; you don’t know what kind of break they’ve had.

This year has taught me that the “blank slate for every student every day” has gotten increasingly more difficult but increasingly more and more important.

Some of your colleagues might seem like they have it all together. They don’t. Everyone has struggles. Everyone is dealing with stuff. And everyone appreciates kindness.

The teacher shortage is 🆁🅴🅰🅻. The sub shortage is 🆁🅴🅰🅻. The support staff shortage is 🆁🅴🅰🅻. The custodial staff shortage is 🆁🅴🅰🅻. The bus driver shortage is 🆁🅴🅰🅻. The concern & burden is 🆁🅴🅰🅻. Many are doing multiple jobs daily to make it through.
