I got a new family doctor (lucky) When he asked me if I had my COVID vaccines, I didn’t even flinch when I said: “Nope 🙂” And he never asked me why.. He just moved on. I used to be so scared to admit it.. Now I don’t even try to explain myself. No regrets.

What I appreciate most about this advice is that it really does apply to many different situations... When I speak to people who are grieving or experiencing intense depressive episodes, when the thought of getting through the rest of the day feels unbearable, I always encourage them to not focus on the rest of the day... focus on getting through the next hour, or the next minute.

The toughest decision of my life. Over the past few weeks, my phone, inbox and social media have been flooded with comments and feedback from those urging me to seek the leadership of the Conservative Party of BC and to run for Premier of British Columbia. And I understand why. Our province is suffering after 8 years of NDP government. They have flooded our streets with drugs, doubled our debt, undermined property rights and left our streets less safe with each passing day. I believe we need change now and that starts with new leadership. On the other hand, serving as the elected representative of the people of North Island-Powell River has been the greatest job in the world. There is no greater honour than standing in the federal Parliament and defending the interests of my constituents and all Canadians. Standing up for free speech, firearm owners and resource workers. Wow. Senior campaign director for Oceana, an activist environmental group, defends accepting $US money to shut down industries and lay off workers here in Canada. This is the same story that has happened in forestry, mining, oil and gas etc. We need to stand up to these activists and put Canadian workers first! 🇨🇦
