Promoted to associate prof with tenure. I'm happily surprised. I never doubted myself or the quality of my lab's work but I didn't trust the process. (Still don't. But that's for another day.) Today, we take the W. Team effort, team win.

Twitter friends! 10 days ago I had major brain surgery. Each day I'm feeling a little better and hoping to be back to full capacity within a few months. Isn't science amazing? In the meantime, science tells me to rest and listen to my body. You should do the same!
