@MeghaBPatel1 Hi Megha! My situation is similar but we applied together. I submitted a study permit and he submitted a work permit, mine got approved but his is still in progress since May 2021. Did you apply for SOWP while you were student?

(1/2) 📢 VAC services update: biometric appointments will soon expand to other visa categories. Note: travel restrictions are still in place that will prevent many clients from travelling to 🇨🇦 depending on their visa category. Processing study permits remains a priority for us.

@Meena77155964 @vfsglobalcare How can we apply for biometric at where they are still not opened slot for spouse open work permit. And yet not declared any date when they're gonna plan to open it. Try to understand we're away from our partner from last one year and still didn't get any update from you.

@vfsglobalcare Dear VFS Staff members, my application for work permit is pending, although my medical had been updated in 14 Dec, 2020. Still I am not getting appointment schedule for biometric. At least update the time. I don't want to travel to Nepal or Dubai for biometric.
