Dear BJP, I am a 20 years-old girl from Delhi University. I don't know much about Politics like Amit Shah or Narendra Modi. I have some points for you and I want you to consider them. 1. Dissolve your IT Cell and Kindly recruit people from all the states in India. 2. Ask your MPs to work on the ground. You should have an internal committee to look after each and every MP's work in his/her constituency. It should be applicable for the Prime Minister too. 3. Pulish the reports of each MP's performance once in a year in a local newspaper. 4. Appoint 50 people to communicate with the people of Bharat and ask them to inform each and every work done for Vikshit Bharat. 5. A Fact-check agency should be the priority. 6. Be ruthless against Corruption and Anti-national elements. 7. Keep your focus on Middle Class. Please accept my small suggestions and try to implement it.

Doctors who have received medical education at CMC Vellore are fortunate I was fortunate to do my MBBS (1989-1993), internship (1994), MD Medicine (1995-1998) and DM Neurology (1999-2000) at Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore. I consider myself privileged to have got that opportunity. What are the unique features of medical training at CMC Vellore? 1⃣Smaller batch size (it was 60 students per batch when we did MBBS; currently the batch size is 100). This allows for better faculty/student ratio and greater resources per student. 2⃣Availability of trained and experienced faculty. Several professors were pioneers in their fields. 3⃣Availability of all departments. In 90s, we had exposure to departments such as hematology (including BMT), endocrinology, nephrology (including renal transplant), genetics, rheumatology, etc. 4⃣Easier access to faculty. Senior faculty stayed at the college/hospital campus. We were also allotted a "clinical tutor" (a senior faculty with whom we could discuss academic issues at any time), 5⃣Well-stocked library. Our library had the latest books and journals. It mattered then to have physical copies of old as well as latest manuscripts (in today's digital world, that problem is partly solved), 6⃣High patient volume. Patients are doctor's best teachers. No book can teach us what we learn from patients. CMC Vellore had huge OP as well as IP patient volumes. Many of the cases were complicated and they were referred from far off places. 7⃣Good mix of bedside clinics and didactic lectures. For bedside clinics, we were divided into smaller batches, and professors could focus better on individual students. 8⃣First hand exposure to community and rural health. There was great emphasis on community health right from the first year of MBBS, when we were made to stay in a rural area for two weeks and study the health-related issues there. The community health program continued in later years too. 9⃣Lectures by super-specialists during MBBS. We were fortunate to have lectures by neurologists, cardiologists and other super-specialists during MBBS. This gave exposure to higher specialties much earlier in our careers. 🔟Focus on research & publications. Many departments had faculties, who were leaders in their fields, and it was easy for us to get inspired to take up research in our areas of interest. In addition, the focus at CMC Vellore is on ethical practice, to offer the best treatment at the lowest possible cost and do what is best for the patient. Learning for a doctor is a life-long process. However, excellent training received in our formative years do play a major role. #MedTwitter #MBBS #NEETUG2024 #neet2024 #NEET @OffCMCVellore

This is not a joke. This is Ayurvedic pulse oximeter that Ayurvedic practitioners use to measure the imaginary humors, Vata, Pitta and Kapha, at different points, millimeters apart along the same radial artery. I have no idea how this works, what this measures and how they interpret this, because humoral theory is imaginary and obsolete. Ayurveda is such a scam.

This is more tragic than One Day on Netflix. A group of students of Homeopathy, because they could not get into medicine, made a video as a consolation prize for their existential crisis, because the majority of public now realize Homeopathy is reckless fraud.

Sadhguru ji underwent surgery for subdural hematoma (SDH), and is recovering well Sadhguru had been suffering from headache for the past 4 weeks. On March 15th, he consulted Dr Vinit Suri, Neurologist at Apollo Hospitals, Delhi. Dr Suri, an astute clinician, suspected SDH and immediately got an MRI of brain done on Sadhguru. MRI confirmed his suspicion. In SDH, there is bleeding between skull (bone) and brain. This bleeding presses on the brain causing headache and other neurological symptoms. Dr Suri wanted Sadhguru ji to immediately get admitted and undergo a surgery to evacuate the blood. But Sadhguru ji, being a workaholic that he is, was not keen. He had important meetings scheduled for 15th evening as well as for the 16th March. He managed to participate in the meetings with the help of pain-killers. However, matters turned for the worse on 17th March. Sadhguru ji's headache worsened, he started vomiting, he had decrease in his alertness level, and he also developed weakness of left leg. At this point, he consulted Dr Suri again and gave his consent for admission and surgery. An emergency brain surgery was performed on Sadhguru at Apollo Hospitals, Delhi for the evacuation of bleeding. He was managed by an expert team of neurologist, neurosurgeon, ICU doctors and anesthetist. By God's grace, Sadhguru is recovering well, is back to his usual self, and cracking jokes too! x.com/ANI/status/177… I pray for his speedy and complete recovery. facebook.com/watch/?v=94954… (Case details explained by Dr Vinit Suri) #Sadhguru @HospitalsApollo

Which "prophet" did my son comment on? What “Islam” did my children comment on? My children didn't even know the difference between "Hindu and Muslim". My children used to call Mohammad Sajid and Mohammad Javed as brothers. Inconsolable mother of two hindu kids who were beheaded by radicals, asks questions from so-called secular intellectuals.

A common cause of nerve damage in a vegetarian 67-year old gentleman presented with 8 months history of burning, tingling and pain affecting both feet and legs. He was a "pure vegetarian". Clinical features were consistent with a diagnosis of peripheral neuropathy (damage of nerves in feet and legs) I ordered only one blood test to identify the cause. Vitamin B12 (active) level was 10 pmol/L (Normal level is >70 pnol/L). I discussed about the diagnosis and treatment options with the patient, and started him on vitamin B12 injections. Take home message ➡️Do blood test for vitamin B12 in people presenting with burning, pain or tingling sensation affecting feet and/or hands, ➡️Early diagnosis and prompt initiation of treatment results in excellent outcome. #MedTwitter #pureveg

Bangalore gives you high salaries and great weather. Yes - sometimes you don’t have water to take a bath, takes 40 minutes to cover 4 kms, lakes are filled with foam, and there is an occasional beating. But those are small issues. Did I mention how great the weather was.
