🥩🧄 Steak with Garlic Cream Sauce 🧄🥛 Ingredients For the Steak: 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks 🥩 (about 1-inch thick) Salt and pepper to taste 🧂 1 tbsp olive oil 🫒 1 tbsp butter 🧈 For the Garlic Cream Sauce: 3 tbsp butter 🧈 4 cloves garlic, minced 🧄 1 cup heavy cream 🥛 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning 🌿 Salt and pepper to taste 🧂 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) 🌱 Instructions Prepare the Steak: Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and sear for 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or to your desired doneness. Remove steaks from the skillet and let them rest while you prepare the sauce. Make the Garlic Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant (be careful not to burn the garlic). Pour in the heavy cream and stir, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer the sauce for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly. Serve: Return the steaks to the skillet and spoon the garlic cream sauce over them, allowing them to warm slightly in the sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad.
