@SomersetBusPart @SouthWestCoach1 @SomersetCouncil Have Somerset Council given any indication as to what they plan to do, assuming South West Coaches have given notice on the contract from a certain date. Can you put up a post with some more details in advance of the Zoom meeting on 8th so everyone knows what will be discussed.

@tcoolingML They were going to cap at £2.50 anyway so they would have been funding that. The extra 50p is hardly a great amount of extra funding in the scale of things .

@Optibus Other suppliers provide similar facilities for driver communication which don't seem to have been game changers for staff retention in the UK industry... so I am wondering why you feel yours will be? Be great to have the industry's staff shortage solved by a Driver App..but how?

@MeiltonMichael We identified two key challenges that we adress: Depot communication: The lack of a single, centralized form of communication with the depot is a major point of frustration for drivers. Access to key documents: Drivers find the limited access to documents a major inconvenience.

@DarrylMeades @BusAndTrainUser T'interweb.....everyone is expected to pop online. You need to wait a generation before someone comes up with the new idea of information you can have on paper to pop in your pocket.....to save carrying around those heavy old fashioned mobile devices folk used in the 2020s

Sorry to see the Travel Shop is no more in Plymouth. And some attention to bus sides/logos wouldn’t go amiss.

@creatingdesire Rather it is out contributing to a punctual service than not available for service as not creating enough desire! Suggest passengers would prefer a bus to run...regardless of the colour.

RML2318 returned ‘home’ to New Cross Garage yesterday after a busy weekend at the ever-popular Imberbus event. Our presence at fun day’s out such as Imber is thanks to a dedicated group of people in our commercial and engineering departments whose care and attention keep this iconic vehicle, soon 58-years-old, roadworthy. A big well done also to this year’s Go-Ahead London Imber crew, which included Dave Warran, Kris Lake, Patrice Bodie, Slav Skowyrski and Micky Webber (pictured left to right below). We are London’s largest bus company and a part of @TheGoAheadGroup, an international provider of passenger transport.

Great day driving our @Morebusco Breezer at Imber today. Huge number of happy people; sorry for the long queues. And our buses were the platform for the many photographers of the evening procession!

Went to my first Imberbus event yesterday, and absolutely loved it! The queues for the buses in Warminster were insane, but it was worth the wait. Especially watching the Cavalcade from the top deck of the morebus Purbeck Breezer!

Imberbus is an annual transport event focused on a classic bus service across the Salisbury Plain to the lost village of Imber. In advance of tomorrow's gathering, Go-Ahead London's Dave Warran and Micky Webber are seen preparing RML2318 for the 101-mile trip from Camberwell Garage to Wiltshire. Dave said: "Imber has grown in popularity since the first service ran in 2009 and it is now a firm favourite in the bus enthusiast calendar. At least 25 vehicles are due to operate this year, including some from outside the capital and the Go-Ahead London team is really looking forward to participating." Micky stated: "Not only is this a great day out, it also raises funds for local good causes, plus the Royal British Legion Poppy Day Appeal. I love getting into the cab of a Routemaster and it is a joy to see so many happy faces as I collect passengers." David Cutts, Go-Ahead London's Managing Director, added: "Go-Ahead London has a long association with Imberbus and we are delighted to once again join others in offering this unique service. Well done to all involved." We are London's largest bus company and a part of @TheGoAheadGroup, an international provider of passenger transport.
