It’s insane that I have to explain that the NYT is more credible and a better institution than the Joe Rogan Experience, but in my experience this is a controversial thing to say among conservatives.
Critics of the media need to acknowledge what a failure the alternative is.

But here it is wrong, since the "debt binge" mixes together "public debt" (nothing to see here, currency creators cannot run out of it) and "private debt", which is inherently risky because non-repayment is always possible.
