Nobody should have to travel miles just to see a doctor. For too long, many communities have lived with that frustration, where basic healthcare felt out of reach. We are changing that by building 260 Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHC) across Enugu, ensuring every ward has a modern health facility close to home, FREE OF CHARGE for our people, and supported by a digital system that keeps patient records safe and accessible. Each centre will run with 24-hour solar power and running water, with 3,380 beds across the state, at least 13 per facility. To support our frontline workers, 2-bedroom apartments are being built at every PHC, because when healthcare workers are well supported, patients receive better care. BREAKING NEWS: Governor Alex Otti of Abia State says his administration will approve the erection of monuments in honour of the heroines of the 1929 Aba women’s uprising and other historic women in the state.

In all honesty, Abia State Fire Service made us proud yesterday during the fire outbreak. Watch the drone shots calmly and zoom in on the 3rd and 4th pictures. You will notice that over 4 fire trucks 🚒 were present. Do you know why I didn’t bother myself? Similar incidents have occurred a few years ago, and I personally joined the ABA fire brigade to the same location owned or managed by Nigeria Brewery. They ended up getting me arrested and detained, which till date, the issue hasn’t been resolved. But when I saw the thick smoke around OSISIOMA where I went to cover the ongoing construction of the ABA bus terminal, I called the federal firemen and directed them to start moving towards the thick smoke. Again, I’m calling the attention of the Abia State government, ably led by our amiable Governor, to investigate and scrutinize the activities happening around this company. Do you know why? Even as the fire flames were very high, they still made sure that their gate remained locked, even when the issue had gotten out of control. That was why they locked me up inside their facility, brought a cameraman to snap me like a common criminal before pushing me out. Thank God we got there on time, and after the fire stopped, all the firemen and security were asked to come around. The federal service men asked me to join them. Ion getting to their gate, we were asked to stay outside their facility. Mc Model TV and DBiggestMouth will bear me witness. Archbishop Anthony Obinna is 54 years a priest today. He was ordained a priest in 1972 at the age of 25. In 1993, at the age of 47, he was appointed and ordained the Bishop of Owerri Diocese. In 1994 when Owerri Diocese was elevated to the level of an Archdiocese, he was appointed the Archbishop of Owerri Archdiocese. In 2022, at the age of 75, he retired as the Archbishop of Owerri, Nigeria. He will be 80 years old on June 26, this year. May God continue to bless and strengthen him 🙏🏿
