I know we are under reacting.
Showing up to march for a few hours
& outraged social media posts are not enough.
But as an 80 yo woman with health issues and limited resources, I don’t know what more I can do.
The mid terms will be too late.
They may not even happen.

I have very warm childhood memories connected to this church. At Easter, my family and I would always walk to the church carrying a basket to have our Easter food blessed.
After the night service, which lasted almost until dawn, people stood with their baskets, candles were glowing, and church bells were ringing. Everything was so atmospheric and beautiful.
After that, we would go back home and sit down together for a festive Easter breakfast as a family.

Trump Is Already Looking For Someone To Blame. The war isn’t going well. Oil above $110. The Strait of Hormuz closed for weeks. Wall Street just had its worst day of the war.  No clean exit. No plan.
So Trump went on camera this week and mentioned, casually, that someone close to him had told him just yesterday that Hegseth is bad at his job.
That’s how it starts. Anonymous hallway gossip, aired publicly, while the war is still running. History is being quietly rewritten in real time. Trump didn’t fail. Trump was failed.

I am reading more and more comments from seasoned politicians in Europe, Canada, Australia and Asia. They are not whispering anymore. They are saying it out loud.
Nobody wanted Iran to win this. Nobody is celebrating a theocratic regime that hangs dissidents and stones women. That needs to be said clearly.
But Trump has managed something remarkable. He has made the mullahs look like the reasonable ones.
And that is not Iran winning hearts. That is America losing them.
