@AirCanada Hi Molly, thanks so much for the swift reply! That link however doesn’t answer my question- I’m wondering since we’ll be stranded overnight in Toronto, if air canada will have a hotel booked for us, or if we need to do this ourselves?

@KLM Yep I will do- apparently you can blame weather for delaying us by 3 days, and also for a flight that was cancelled 2 days before departure… you must have some clairvoyant staff working for you! Exceptional! I’ll be escalating this as far as small claims if necessary.

Hi @KLM. My flight disruption compensation claim has been refused due to “weather” being an exceptional circumstance, but I can show the weather in both locations being bright and sunny, with no wind, and literally thousands of flights arriving and departing both airports.

@andycloquet @KLM I’m sure they’ve blamed the weather for this as well 🫠🫠🫠 what an absolute shambles of an airline. I will absolutely never fly with them again and I am currently collecting all of the evidence I’d need for small claims court action. Just absurd.

@andycloquet @KLM Cheers Andy, I will absolutely go down this route if needed- they offered us a flight that would have arrived 3 days late, and no other airline cancelled more than 3 or 4 flights in/out of Schiphol that day. It’s such an absurd claim. There were articles written about the chaos!

Ours was one of few that was cancelled. How on earth can you blame the weather for that? This is absolutely absurd and I wish to escalate this claim. Please let me know how to do this.

@KLM @MarceloRuiz14 Can you really blame people for contacting you in multiple ways when we’re waiting weeks or months for refunds? It’s a total joke at this point, we’ve been waiting nearly 8 weeks for compensation after you stranded us in Spain.

I have filed a #claim on January 2022 and it's been 7 months I haven't received an answer. I have tried to contact them via messenger and WhatsApp and not succeded. Does anyone have gone through the same? Is it possible to sue @KLM or make a legal claim to local authorities #EU?

@KLM That’s really poor. I understand there are challenges but “several weeks to several months” is not only so vague as to be completely unhelpful, but the timeline on that is staggering. I’m out of pocket £1000 which is accumulating interest on my credit card. Who pays for that?

Hi @KLM, you’ve cancelled our flights twice now. Told us to see a desk agent in Alicante airport- I am here and there is no desk agent in this airport as confirmed by ground force. What do you suggest I do now?
