@lucasjmaxwell I've done a few lunch time counts and hit 200 one day - I had to stop as they kept moving around and I lost count. I'm going to do one again tomorrow, you've inspired me, I think it's something we need to sing from the rooftops!

This morning I decided to a very quick count of the students who used the #library from when I opened (7:15 am) to 8 am. Well over 200, which is a reminder of the importance of #school #libraries & how many kids rely on them on a daily basis. #greatschoollibraries

Interesting scenes in Melbourne an hour or so ago with Nazi's turning up at Parliament House. Things got a little toey, but they obliged with a move on order and left the precinct under the close watch of VicPol.

A library is the heart of a school, a place for research, reading for fun and co-curricula activities. A place of well-being and community. Libraries, teacher librarians and library support staff need to be valued and properly funded in all schools ❤️ #StudentsNeedSchoolLibraries
