There is a high prevalence of AF/AFL in this single-institution MMD cohort, and incidence of AF/AFL increased over time. The CHA2DS2-VASc score may not be an effective tool in this population. Additional studies needed jacc.org/doi/10.1016/j.…

1/ Cardiac MRI is an important tool in the evaluation of dilated & arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathies. A novel pattern of late gadolinium enhancement was the clue to the diagnosis in this case of early-onset atrial fibrillation, now online in @CircImaging @MelissaAustinMD @noshreza
