@nettermike And Jet Blue grows just as if it had merged with Spirit without the paperwork and funds transfers.
English

JetBlue just pulled the ultimate power move. Hours after Spirit Airlines went dark, JetBlue swooped into South Florida with a full-blown rescue mission—and they're not playing small.
Here's the breakdown: $99 rescue fares for anyone holding a valid Spirit ticket. Same route, same dates, just call 1-800-JETBLUE. Flying Fort Lauderdale to San Juan? Blue Basic is capped at $299 through May 8.
But that's just the warm-up. JetBlue is exploding at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International—adding 11 brand new cities, extra flights on existing routes, and pushing nearly 130 daily departures this summer. That's a 75%+ jump from last year and their biggest FLL operation EVER.
CEO Joanna Geraghty put it plainly: "South Florida is a key market... we're stepping up, adding service, and keeping fares competitive." (Translation: we're taking over.)
Fun fact? Fort Lauderdale was JetBlue's very first destination back in 2000. Now they're reclaiming it after Spirit held 27% of that market.
Oh, and they're not leaving Spirit's crew behind either—jumpseat access for two weeks and job interviews for qualified staff.
This is how you turn a market collapse into a masterclass. 👇

@robbystarbuck This is how you win a presidential election in 28. Everyone knows your name and that you’re as good humored as your current boss.

@TheWinkingMinx @ARamblingRoyal The last one with the airman. Wowza! I still wonder what his wife thinks of it.

@Telegraph True statement. The clear-thinking Brits are wonderful people. However, the current government is awful and Charles has to comply with them. Not sure I see much success in that message.

@JustSoDuckie As long as they remain on the RF website and retain their titles and honorifics, she'll make it happen. As long as Charles reigns, he'll let them. Charles is the problem.
English

@storiesbyjemay And when two of them are married to each other ....
English

@HungaryBased Too bad your superior bowed and kissed the ring of the EU to continue the war.
English

@ChicDelights8 IF it's true that the RF has moved on from the Harkles, then it shouldn't be any effort at all to remove them from the website.
English

The Royal Family has moved on without Harry and Meghan. It’s the British Media who should stop promoting Harry and Meghan and move on from them realizing the BRF and UK doesn’t need them.

🚨Starmer earmarks £670 million for Chagos handover
The Chagos deal is currently on hold amid US opposition.
He must abandon his disgraceful Chagos deal and instead redirect the money to the Royal Navy.
Starmer actively and continually puts our national security at risk.
Worst PM in living memory.

@MelissaRLeach @sage1411 If the UK govt gives H a job traveling the world making speeches as their useful idiot...I mean, special envoy, and Charles doesn't stop it, there's going to be hell to pay from his subjects.
English

Yes she did! But Charles is, if nothing else, consistent. Look at how he tried to repatriate the Yorks after QEII died. He's still trying to rehab their daughters. The man simply either doesn't learn OR he vehemently disagrees with banishment as Palace policy OR he wants what he thinks will be a popular win. Charles is still the problem.
English

@MelissaRLeach @sage1411 She despised EdVIII; she blamed him for her husband's early death. KC probably a nice guy, but he just doesn't get it. There are those whom you must NEVER allow back in. Can KC endure yet another scandal? He doesn't seem to understand how much they've hurt the monarchy already.
English

@RoyallyBelle_ Definitely brother and sister! Diana's and Catherine's common genes have substantially improved the bloodline.
English

@MelissaRLeach @grok @SeddSezz Gemini:The Crown Estate leases seabed areas for massive offshore wind projects, own majority of seabed around England, Wales, +Northern Island.KC has decided to use the increased revenue (over £1.1B) for the "wider public good." He'd better save some for windmill carcass removal.
English

When the Windsors were banished from the UK, Charles, against his mother's orders, visited them with the intent to negotiate a repatriation agreement between them and the Palace.
Upon returning home, it is said that the Queen Mother scolded him up one side and down the other for his reckless stunt. IMO, it was the Queen Mother who kept the wall up between the Palace, the government, and the Windsors. QEII never had to keep that wall in place because Edward died before the Queen Mother.
As for H being appointed to some UK govt job? As long as Labour is in power, I think every option is on the table as he is aligned with them and he's their useful idiot.
As long as Charles doesn't act against them, he's implicitly saying that he approves of Harry's conduct - official or otherwise - and that includes what may look like a huge scandal for Invictus.
English

@MelissaRLeach @sage1411 Heard Rob say that, but disagree. Ed VIII was the son+ brother of kings--the king himself for a bit!--+VERY unpopular. They WITHELD info from him! Only way H qualifies for IPP is if he's on official UK business. Could govt appoint him to some job, God forbid? After AMW as envoy??
English

This was a lovely tribute to her. I wasn't on Twitter when you all were going through this, but thankfully, you're back. Kind of a shame you can't sue Jack for loss of income.
Not to change the subject, but to just shift it a bit, everyone in the media and elsewhere are fawning over Charles and Cammi ignoring the Sussexes during a dinner speech and making inside story photos (Martha, Anna, etc.) and saying these are "clear signals" that the Sussexes are out and not needed.
However, if what Richard Eden, Kinsey Schofield, and Tom Sykes are saying is true that Yvette Cooper advised Harry on his speech while in Ukraine, then the whole issue of IPP status is still on the table.
IMO, a few a few public swats does not replace official actions of removing them from the website as well as removing the HRHes and the princely titles from H, Archie, and Little Betty.
In my prior list of excuses from the Palace I forget to mention Trouping the Color. I suppose that's the next excuse event before Charles retires to Balmoral for the summer and does no official duties until at least September. By then, the Home Office could have easily granted both IPP status and full international taxpayer funded 24/7 armed security for them.
Charles is still the problem.

@mit53564 @FloppingAces If you're familiar with Dana Loesch, she commented on her show yesterday or the day before on YouTube about the failure of the handler to heed the dog's alert.
Some are also saying that SS needs to be removed from DHS and returned to Treasury. That makes a lot more sense to me.
English

@MelissaRLeach @FloppingAces I have indeed! It looks like the handler is speaking to someone inside as he pulls the dog away. The dog should get a medal; he was the only one doing his job!
English

The Secret Service is a complete and total clown show right now, and Director Sean Curran is the ringmaster in chief.
This dude just went on Fox News and said the security plan for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner was “set up perfectly” and he “wouldn’t change a thing” ... right after a 31-year-old nutjob sprinted through a checkpoint with a shotgun, point-blank blasted an agent, and nearly turned the ballroom into a slaughterhouse while Trump and Vance were inside.
They’re out here giving themselves Valor Awards, purging experienced leadership to install loyal bootlickers, and treating two assassination attempts like minor paperwork errors. No firings. No real accountability. Just promotions for the same clowns who failed at Butler.
The agency is broken, leaderless, and dangerously comfortable with failure. They’re not protecting the President ... they’re praying for luck while handing out medals to each other.
Trump better watch his own back, because this version of the Secret Service sure as hell isn’t.
Pure incompetence wrapped in a fancy suit and a smug press conference. Disgraceful.
