I had a great day presenting at PLA yesterday with @alxadms and @JenSkoblicki. Alex and I presented on integrating tech into the ELA classroom. Jen and I presented on the resources in Blender. We’d be more than happy to share these ideas and resources with teachers! #pbcliteracy

Thirty-eight current @SchoolPolicePBC officers were 1st responders on 9/11 - including Tony Makowski & Jimmy Schnaderbeck who raised a flag at @pbcsd today. This flag once flew at Ground Zero. Today we honor all 1st responders and remember those who died.

Book buddies and blankets?! Who wouldn’t want to snuggle up to a good book in this classroom?! I bet some of them are closely reading their books to better understand the characters. The anchor chart from Module 1 behind them is so supportive for this work!#PBCLiteracy

When I moved up to #fifthgrade from #secondgrade I was nervous - what if I’m too “primary” for these “big kids”? I forgot that at the end of the day, they’re still kids and like to read with a buddy (even if it’s a stuffed animal) 🤓🥰☺️🐝 #ReadersAreLeaders #BookBuddy
