Students in schools are being convinced to donate blood with bread and soda “to save lives.”
But the painful truth? Some people in offices turn around and sell that blood and blood products for millions.
So, who is the donation really saving?
If you are making money from donated blood, tell people the truth.
Don’t package business as charity.

The issue of blood does not involve @charlruto she is the ambassador and not actually the one running blood bank ,ni kama useme marketer wa kampuni is running the company ,is that being too myopic @sholard_mancity @TupacShakurLCwhat we should be calling for is for @KenyaRedCross
English

@CopShakurkihara You should be able to differentiate the role of an ambassador ,and the role of Red Cross and where actually blood is stored ,but you were a police officer I would understand you

I'm not attacking the President's daughter,I'm just calling for accountability, action, and investigation.
Charline Ruto was appointed as the Blood Ambassador by former Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha.
She launched a blood donation drive and mobilized youths across the country. That was good work, but how comes the blood is being sold to other countries?
It is reported that people are selling donated blood to other countries, leaving Kenyan hospitals with empty blood banks. A recent report indicated that those who sold the blood made over KSh 20 million.
I'm not saying Charline is the one selling the blood, but she should be accountable for the blood she helped encourage people to donate.
Action needs to be taken against the people responsible.

It has been confirmed that Dr. Obwaka died of cardiac arrest, and Raila also died of cardiac arrest. We all know Zakayo benefited from their deaths.
I'm not a scientist, but I know that cardiac arrest can have various causes, including poisoning.
I have a strong feeling that these deaths were caused intentionally.

As Chief Justice, I cherished the brotherly bonds within our East African Jumuiya and worked closely with my colleagues in the Tanzanian judiciary in the shared pursuit of justice and the rule of law.
I am therefore deeply disturbed by the remarks attributed to Her Excellency President Samia Suluhu during President Ruto's address to Tanzania's National Assembly.
It is regrettable that the two presidents are reported to have discussed coordinating efforts to "chapa mikwajo" the Gen Z across Kenya and Tanzania.
These remarks are abhorrent.
They come barely a week after President Suluhu received the report of the Commission of Inquiry into killings during and after Tanzania's 29 October 2025 general elections, in which more than 518 people lost their lives, primarily from gunshot wounds.
To date, not a single person has been held accountable.
We must also not forget that our compatriot Boniface Mwangi, and Agather Atuhaire of Uganda, were tortured on Tanzanian soil. The perpetrators remain free.
Citizens of East Africa must speak up. The axis of tyranny that Presidents Suluhu and Ruto are constructing threatens to return our region to autocracy.
As I demonstrated through my solidarity appearance in Dar-es-Salaam on 19 May 2025, standing with opposition leader Tundu Lissu, our East African Jumuiya cannot advance while leaders suppress dissent and trample on the basic rights of our people.

A continuation of Ruto's disastrous foreign policy and geopolitical ignorance played out in rather embarrassing circumstances last evening in Tanzania.
The Tanzanian president, Samia Suluhu, openly castigated Ruto, in a conference of several hundred multinationals, for having announced an upcoming construction of a massive oil refinery in Tanga, Tanzania, an announcement which the Tanzanian president also saw on TV like all of us!
Kenya has a full High Commission in Dar es Salaam and a Consulate in Arusha, on top of tonnes of diplomats attached to both the EAC Secretariat and EALA.
But shockingly, Ruto invited Museveni and Dangote to Nairobi to announce a project of that magnitude, in a neighbouring country (and Tanzania is not only the proposed host of the refinery, but is one of the regional nations supposed to be paying for its construction!) without telling the country where the project is set to stand!
That kind of madness is special.
And do you know what he said in answer to Suluhu?
"Ningejua hivyo ningesema Mombasa, not Tanga!"
The guy thinks he is running a personal kiosk, even with regional matters.
Next time on the ballot, try and elect someone who knows something about statecraft.

@paulinenjoroge You are privileged so you wouldn’t understand ,4k for a common mwanachi is doing a lot especially at this economic situation
English

You trade your constitutional right for 4K which is part of billions stolen from us by the regime, money that’s expected to facilitate service delivery to Kenyans, then three months later you are on the streets protesting the poor state of public hospitals, some even being shot dead by the regime in the process.
How many months’ rent can 4k pay?
How much of a hospital bill can it cover, especially with a broken national insurance system?
How much of your child’s school fees can it cover, at a time when the regime has reduced capitation?
In this economy, how long can it feed you?
If a loved one is taken down by the regime during demonstration, how much of the funeral expenses will 4K cover?
How many days of transport, electricity or basic household needs can it sustain?
People of Ol Kalou, we are watching you, and history will judge harshly if you trade our rights, our future and our country for a morsel of bread.

Just the other day, the U.S. Senate banned senators and their staff from betting in prediction markets because leaders with insider access should not be gambling on wars, crises or economic events.
Now look at Kenya.........
Three-quarters of the political class either owns, fronts for, protects, or benefits from gambling companies.
The same leaders who lecture young people about hard work are sitting on an industry that feeds on desperation. A poor youth loses Sh50, Sh100 or Sh500 every day chasing hope, then the same political class returns a fraction of that money as donations, sponsorships, church contributions and “empowerment.”
They harvest despair quietly, then return crumbs loudly with cameras rolling.
Kenyans deserve full disclosure....which leaders own betting companies? Who are the hidden shareholders? Who are the political protectors? Who is profiting from the losses of desperate citizens?
Public office should not be a casino. Leadership should not be powered by betting slips and broken dreams.
