@iamjustukon @sergioa94679493 I agree. There is a lot of biblical evidence that supports the possibility of humans mating with angels. In fact, Genesis 19 attributes the final destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah to this very thing!

The Nephilim have been debated as either being the offspring of the fallen angels or the tribe of Seth. Most Protestants are divided 50/50 on this because many believe Angels cannot have offspring. However, the term “Sons of God” have been used in other parts of the Bible (at least 5 times) referring specifically to Angels. Taking the full context, it is more probable that they were indeed the offspring of the fallen angels.

Fair enough, Aaron. Sorry, that just struck me as funny knowing as many Adventists as I do and having never heard some of those things. Adventists do vary quite a bit between one another, so there will always be some outliers in any group. But let me clarify for you that the Seventh-day Adventist official position is that God has people in all the denominations, not just the Seventh-day Adventist church. The reference to giants likely stems from a biblical affirmation (Genesis 6:4) that giants existed in early times, but Adventists do not believe that Adam and Eve were giants. The part about Ellen White receiving enlightenment is true, and you are correct to approach that with a healthy level of skepticism given the many false prophets that have emerged throughout history. Nonetheless, the gift of prophecy is a biblical concept and should always be checked against Scripture. Adventists do believe Ellen White had the gift of prophecy and reference Ephesians 4:11-13, which lists spiritual gifts (including prophets) given to the church "until we all come to the unity of the faith." Adventists also cite Deuteronomy 18:21-22, which states that a prophet’s predictions must come true to validate their calling. Isaiah 8:20 says, "To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." In Matthew 7:15-20, Jesus teaches that true prophets can be known "by their fruits." Thinking about relationships on this Valentine's day, while roaming a crowded city alone, far from home, feeling lost in a too big world. Close friendships and romantic relationships are one of the most amazing things about being alive. Humans find each other, and stick by each other, some for life through thick and thin. For me, the only way to do relationships is being ride-or-die for each other. Same applies to close friendships. I'm going through some heartbreak at the moment (that's life), and wondering how it all turned out this way. Getting laid has always been easy. Finding a woman to spend the rest of my life with has not been. The great thing about life though is that every new day is full of possibilities. I think the main issue has been that I'm an introvert who loves being at home, reading/working/chilling alone or with close friends. But this year I'm doing a bit of the opposite: taking on some wild adventures. In that spirit, I'm traveling to some very beautiful (and in some cases dangerous) places. The most entertaining outcome is the most likely 😎 I love you all ❤️
