@JasonKelleyUK It’ll only take one game where England struggle to break down a team for the rage against Tuchel to start. You don’t just start a set of qualifying matches and then the end happens. There are games to play & they won’t all be plain sailing.

I think Tuchel should resign. England fans are so upset by his lack of positive reaction to the situation in the semi, that I think if England struggle in qualifying for the euros or play badly then the pressure will ramp up immediately. He won’t be given any leeway from now on.

@Memdozer England are virtually assured of qualifying for the Euros. None of the 4 hosts qualify automatically. All 4 enter qualifying. 2 places are reserved for the 2 highest ranked hosts that fail to qualify. England are pretty much qualified.

So it would take a terrible qualification campaign for England not to even make it.

@jonburkeUK The players sat back after the goal themselves. They looked tired, as they did in the Norway game. Argentina looked like they could run all night. Tuchel read the match and tried to help them hold on.

If and when England go out of a tournament, we want to go out on our shield. We could’ve taken 4-1 if we’d have gone for it after the goal. It’s the fear and weakness projected by Tuchel’s game management that hurts most, not the result.
In the end, it’s pretty simple.
