This government utterly despises motorists… these policies hit those living outside of big cities the most. It’s not possible or feasible for everyone to take public transport or live in London. Or have a paid for second home!

£300 a year just for driving 10,000 miles. Pay-per-mile tax from 2028. Drive to work? Pay. Visit family? Pay. Live outside a big city? Pay more. Another “targeted” policy that hits ordinary people hardest.

@Murk441 Induction hobs are better than gas hobs. .The first thing I did when I moved house was have the gas hob removed and an induction hob fitted. Much safer & cleaner and instant heat control.

@poglejaydee @Helen_Whately It isn’t borderline prejudice but a fact. There are two types of benefit claimants, those who deserve it and those that don’t.
We need to return our welfare state back to those it supported in the 60’s and then it would function. Too many claimant classifications allowed today.

@Hoorain154 I did it for both my children over 40 years ago. Disposables were a luxury and something I allowed myself when we took our annual weeks holiday. A lidded bucket full of Nappies soaking in Napisan before being put into the washing machine was the norm in the bathroom.

@bagshaw2112 He should never have been allowed to compete in a women’s competition in the first place. He hasn’t been forced out of playing as he can compete in the men’s tournaments but he is winging because knows he wouldn’t stand a chance as there are better men players than him.

@Kristinartz Very definitely. If they are earning they need to contribute for their use of all facilities. It is all about learning the value of money and living costs so when they do finally fly the nest they understand and can manage their daily life expenses.
