They did this because of lawyers. If someone took a chair and got a splinter or a leg broke and they were injured they could be liable because this kind of litigation is stark evil.
There could have been a better way to deal with it, but put blame where it belongs.

then Walmart, with 2,390 H-1B approvals in just the first half of 2025, can train an American for a supply-chain, data, or tech role in that same time.
Visa extensions are unnecessary. In Fact, H1B aren't needed either- it only serves to make a trillion dollar company more billions.
Every H-1B renewal proves the job was never temporary. Walmart had three full years to find, hire, or train an American. Instead, they renewed the visa and locked in foreign labor.
They pay fees meant to train Americans as part of the process, then ignore the entire purpose.
What is more un- American than to hire foreign labor with the money you make selling products to Americans.
It betrays every citizen who could have filled that role.
Ground the visa renewal path. Hire and train Americans.

The most egregious charging decision is against 51-year-old Willie Hill, Jr., who fatally shot a man who opened fire at him back in early February. Prosecutors aren't charging him for the homicide. They admit the evidence corroborates Hill's self-defense claim and agree his actions appear to be justified. Instead, they're charging him with criminal possession of a firearm (basically, having an unregistered gun) and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon (basically, having a loaded gun in public without a carry license). The former is a Class E felony for which Hill faces up to 4 years in prison. The latter? A more serious Class C "violent" felony for which he faces a mandatory minimum of 3.5 years in prison (up to 15 years max). It doesn't appear that Hill was a prohibited person. I shot best friend's Glocks (19 and 23) but 10+1 was a limiting factor.

My range has a "No rapid fire, one shot per second" rule that was recently implemented. Noise complaints from neighbors. I'm not looking to get black listed from my range, so all I was willing to try was a couple of bursts. That being said, for those of you with converted SL8's, TG36's, and S5's. Hold onto your butts.
