Vehicles approaching a stopped school bus (from the front OR rear) that is displaying flashing red warning lights must stop not less than 20 feet from the bus & must remain stopped until the bus resumes motion. Never pass a school bus when children are loading or unloading.

We'd like to remind everyone to be aware of school buses beginning their routes. Budget extra time to travel in the morning, be on the lookout for pedestrians and bicyclists, and always watch out for buses and their signals. youtu.be/QTRRaKWXh68

They were able to do hands-on activities such as room clearing, handcuffing, evidence/crime scene processing, first aid, basic traffic stops, & more. Thanks to the Dunn County Sheriff's Office, Menomonie Fire Department, @WDNR & Dunn County Dispatch for assisting!

Our Junior Police Program took place a few weeks ago, and we’d like to thank everyone who helped make this program a success. Participants were able to learn about different aspects of the Criminal Justice system.

We are asking residents in that area to check and ensure that their vehicles were not entered overnight. If you find that your vehicle was entered or items were missing, please contact us at 715-232-1283 and reference M23-01534

Officers responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle early this morning in the area of River Heights Road. One person was arrested and faces several charges, and was located with multiple items in their possession that were not theirs.
