This is a really important thread. (And if you are a cis woman in menopause you may wish to reflect on how this could eventually impact you too.)

Now this is a thread. And in my experience of groups, 10% of the people end up doing 90% of the work, and that is now the extraction/burnout pipeline is perpetuated. Choose your associates carefully and keep asking yourself the question 'Who and what is this for?'

I spent #WorldMenopauseDay at the first ever Equity in Menopause Festival in London. It was amazing! I shared insights from an Autistic perspective, drawing on lived experience and the @AutMenopause Bridging the Silos research study I’ve been involved in for the last 3 years. 1/

Today it was determined that the emergency ban on puberty blockers was lawful.  It was also: •Scandalous  •Harmful •Prejudiced •Double standards  •Discriminatory  •Unkind •Medically negligent  •Wrong  It is not for politicians to make decisions about clinical pathways. These decisions should always be made carefully, be based on the best evidence available, and be made by expert clinicians responsible for providing such healthcare.
