If you want good children’s TV, demand it. Write to @lisanandy and demand it. Posting on here doesn’t do any good. Few people know how much of a crisis there is in British TV right now. Zero politicians actually care. If you want to keep TV going, it needs public support.

@GuyLambertUK I have always had the opinion of things change for a reason. But, television is such an important media for children, specially within historical context. But also the fact it doesn't have AI slop that is on YouTube these days. It will be sad to see CITV go if i'm honest!

The sad truth is that most U.K. adults grow up with two opinions: “kids TV was better when I was a kid” and “kids TV matters but not to the point where I would do anything to support it.” People mourning CiTV on here could write to @lisanandy and protest this but nobody will.

ITV barely have enough money to keep their programming going. @lisanandy has said nothing about children’s shows. @Ofcom do nothing to protect children’s shows and putting CiTV on ITVX won’t last long. The belief is “kids only watch YouTube” so nobody cares to protect kids TV.
