@BibleInContext1 Also note that she said that if you understand "you fall in love with the faith". Not that you fall in love with Jesus or God but the faith. That says it all.

@Herr_Oberst45 @Protestia That is a strange statement. She is obviously not sola scriptura. She wants to invent new scriptures that fit her own beliefs. Not that different to what the Roman church has done. This is why we needed and need sola scriptura.

"The New Testament is NOT the word of God' UCC Bishop says we need a 'Third Testament' because the first two are 'problematic,' and contain bad theology. As a result, "we need to pull those pages out"

They want Christians planting deceptive seeds that Trump is the antichrist before we are removed. They want the world to think “they” are ushering in end times (which they are). So when the antichrist steps out and exposes all of them, tears down the entire pedo evil system-the world will think they have been liberated and the Antichrist defeated.

Peter
Peter@peterpeccavi·
If Peter is the first Pope, why is it that he never “venerates” Mary? I ask because if Rome stands on Peter, then Peter’s silence matters. And if Rome stands on apostolic tradition, then the apostles’ silence matters. Let’s look at Peter first. We don’t need tradition about him. We have his written testimony. Peter’s preaching is recorded in detail in places like Acts 2, 3, and 10. His focus is relentlessly on Christ--His life, death, resurrection, and lordship. Mary is never invoked, addressed, or presented as an object of devotion. Not once. When Mary does appear, like in Acts 1:14, she’s simply counted among the believers praying. She’s not singled out, not exalted, not approached. She’s *in* the Church, not over it. In Peter’s own letters, there is zero Marian language. No appeal to her, no special honor, no hint of intercession. For someone supposedly establishing a pattern of Marian veneration, his silence is deafening. This all lines up with the broader New Testament witness. When a woman in the crowd tries to elevate Jesus’ mother, Christ redirects the blessing to those who hear and obey the Word (Luke 11:27-28). The emphasis consistently moves away from biological proximity toward faith and obedience. Now widen the lens across the apostles as a whole. In their preaching, in their letters, and in their instruction to the churches, there is no instance of Marian veneration as it is later defined in Roman Catholic practice. No invocation. No devotional address. No liturgical pattern. Nothing that even approximates it. That matters, because doctrine doesn’t emerge ex nihlio. It emerges from what is taught, practiced, and handed down within the apostolic witness. And here the pattern is not mixed or ambiguous. It is uniformly Christ focused and entirely silent on Marian veneration. So the question is not whether one can locate a verse that explicitly forbids it. The question is whether there is any positive apostolic pattern that gives it warrant in the first place. And when the entire apostolic record is taken together, the answer is that there is none. So here again is the papist dilemma: If your standard is Peter, then your first pope never practiced it. If your standard is apostolic tradition, then the apostles never transmitted it. Either way, it’s not grounded in the apostolic witness. It’s something that shows up later and then gets read backward into texts that never contained it. Which is error. And that’s the point. Not that silence alone proves falsity, but that the total apostolic pattern gives no positive warrant for it. Marian dogma is none other than idolatrous deception. Repent.

Btw, the more I engage with Roman Catholicism online, the more I’m convinced Catholics simply don’t read or study their Bibles. It shows in posts like this. They’re like that one kid in class giving a book report who didn’t actually read the book, yet thinks his analysis is spot on. Meanwhile, everyone who did the homework can clearly tell he didn’t.
Mikale Olson@realmikolson

Wait… Do Roman Catholics actually think the angel in Luke was—checks notes—praying to Mary and worshiping her? 🫨 (He also never said this in the passage? Like… huh?)

@HoldenCCole Sir, the Bible teaches us that prayer is worship, and a form of worship that ought to be only directed towards God himself. This is very clear in scripture. This is why we believe that.. because we actually submit to the word of God (I know, a foreign concept for you guys).

“Follow Jesus, not the Pope” is peak Protestant cope. If you really wanted a personal relationship with Jesus, you’d submit to the Church He founded instead of your feelings, your pastor, or a 500-year-old protest. Jesus didn’t invent denominations. He said “Upon this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.”

You don’t need the Pope to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

I Sverige ’bara’ ca 500 konverteringar. Här är 1 av 500, han heter Oscar.

Before the @ConceptualJames-was-right jar there was the C.S. Lewis-was-right jar. In the last book of Lewis' Narnia series, The Last Battle, certain corrupt Narnians join forces with the Calormen from the South (representing Muslims), and they declare that they worship the same God! They combined the Narnian God, Aslan, with the Calormen God, Tash, and called him "Tashlan." Of course, none of those involved in the lie really believed in any God, much less this new one of their own creation. They were all happy to make the compromise in order to consolidate their collective power. The same is true today. Those who are pushing for Islamo-Catholicism are not true believers. They worship power, and they crave the power that comes with combining two such massive world religions. In the end we know what happens to those wicked heretics. They learn that Tash is very real, and Aslan is very real. Tash is a demon who accepts these fools as a sacrifice to feed his thirst for blood. The followers of Aslan meet him, and spend eternity in paradise. Christians do not worship the Islamic God. Muslims do not worship the Christian God. Choose this day whom you will serve. As for me and my house, we will worship the Lord.

Please let it sink in my dear Protestants who don’t know better but need to understand why we reject the religion of Rome so boisterously and see those lost within it as the mission field.. Rome anathematized you at the counsel of Trent for believing Ephesians 2:8-9, but Algerian Muslims who reject Jesus Christ as savior and God are “in communion” with the RCC. (Paragraph 841 CCC) We want no communion with Rome of course because of the gospel , but the world unfortunately sees them as the face of Christianity …. It’s hypocrisy and utter abandonment of John 14:6 for the sake of false charity.

Today is a great day to turn away from the Roman Catholic religion and embrace Jesus’s FINISHED work for you ✝️ “And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.” Hebrews 10:11-12, 14

I’ve seen many comments from Roman Catholics over the past several days that go something like this: “Yeah, I think what the Pope is doing is wrong (cozying up to Islam), and it’s unsettling to me—but I can’t and won’t leave the Roman Church because of the Eucharist/the Mass.” This precisely highlights what I would argue is Rome’s trap. They’ve convinced—or confused—their members into believing the following sequence: 1. The Eucharist (Communion/the Lord’s Supper) is the actual, physical body and blood of Christ. The bread and wine ARE Jesus. 2. The Roman Catholic Church is the only true church (“the one true Church”), and therefore the only institution with the authority to “transubstantiate” the Eucharist into the physical body and blood of Jesus. 3. Taking the Eucharist at a Catholic Mass is how one primarily makes atonement for sin. Baptism, they claim, washes away “original sin,” wiping past transgressions from one’s record from the point in time of the baptism—but future sins must be cleansed through participation in the seven sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church, chief among them the Eucharist. In other words, they believe their eternal salvation is dependent on the Roman Catholic Church administering the Mass. Given that framework, it’s not hard to see why leaving the Roman Catholic Church would feel existentially dangerous to many adherents. If you’ve been taught that grace is uniquely dispensed through that institution—and that your ongoing forgiveness is tied to participation in its sacraments—then walking away doesn’t feel like switching churches; it feels like forfeiting access to Christ Himself. That creates a powerful psychological and spiritual dependency: the Church is no longer a guide for discipleship & a community of believers (a family of families), but the gatekeeper of salvation (right-standing before God) itself. In other words, you need their rituals, specifically, to go to heaven. From a structural standpoint, this system reinforces loyalty by raising the perceived cost of dissent to the highest possible level. I would argue that this isn’t incidental—it functions to preserve institutional authority by binding the individual’s eternal security to continued participation in that specific system. So when the Pope does something unbelievably wicked (as has happened many times in history, as it is now), what are the members of Rome to do? They must submit anyways. Does this sound like an honest, godly, or Christ-honoring institution/system?
