He’s tired but now in a hospital local to his house. It’s a matter of resting and recovering now.
Cards delivered, he thanks all that sent one. I think I almost saw a touch of emotion in his eyes but I’m sure I’m wrong…
He is now replete with Twixes, Crunchies and After eights although currently not up to eating.
View from hospital room window is nice, shame @ThermopylaeRIP can’t see it.

@yuanyi_z I'm a Conservative in Higher Education. I have to say it's never been a problem. Most of my colleagues are reasonably fair minded, and to be honest, anywhere I've worked, politics rarely cropped up. Perhaps I've just been lucky?

My Granda was a Labour activist in 50s Glasgow. He was also genuinely working class, a family man, and devout Catholic. I seriously doubt he'd recognise the modern Labour party.

I spent almost 40 years of my life campaigning for the Labour Party. This year will mark the 100th anniversary of the General Strike, when my grandmother as a 14 year old factory worker went on strike. I despise what Labour has become. Bourgeois baby killers.
