It's amazing...feels like ME again. I have to admit though, fast changes in 2026 have me rethinking everything I pushed earlier this year. I started out on the DistroKid hype train. Super easy ($25/year), upload once and your music hits Spotify, Apple,YouTubeMusic, pretty much everywhere music streaming is available. No gatekeepers. I always wanted to publish my own music, and I was already looking into it, but I honestly did it initially to honor my Buy Me a Coffee supporters. 🤯One amazing fan paid real money JUST to help me get “March Of The Nobodies” on Spotify. That’s a straight-up blessing. I immediately delivered, because y’all deserve it. Grateful as hell to have published music, but I'm learning a LOT. 🎶Currently, I have two singles out "Balance" & "March of The Nobodies". Both are on multiple streaming platforms. I'm also selling them both as direct download music bundles in my BuyMeACoffee shop. 🖼️The picture is clear: If I want to turn music into a serious career, streaming isn’t the path to chase. It’s actually a shiny trap. DistroKid gets you everywhere fast, sure. But the payouts are still brutal. 👉🏽Spotify sits at $0.003–$0.005 per stream in 2026 (TuneCore/Chartlex). 👉🏽Apple around $0.01. You need millions of streams just earn enough for some tacos and rent. Spotify paid out more than $11 billion to the music industry in 2025. (Spotify Newsroom) Those $$$ mostly go to superstars, and even they feel slighted once everyone getting a slice of the pie gets served. (Look up Snoop & Spotify) Indie artists get the scraps. 🫥Here are some cold, hard facts about the middleman headaches... 👉🏽Non-US artists on DistroKid get hit with up to 30% IRS withholding unless you file the W-8BEN DistroKid Official Support. 👉🏽What happens if you miss this part??? Your money sits. Bet the new music "gurus" that have popped up everywhere aren't telling you this. 👉🏽Want Customer Support to help? We know the drill that's become all too familiar...bots and ghosted tickets. 👉🏽Accounts frozen over vague “editorial discretion”??? YOUR music keeps streaming anyway (they collect), but payouts to you get blocked for months. 🤬Fresh 2026 complaints keep rolling in. Miss Krystle/aka Top Music Attorney on YouTube has some great videos on why DistroKid is reportedly up for sale, and why that's bad for artists. I highly recommend you go check her out and give her a sub if you're in the indie music scene! 🤖So what about AI music? Honest truth...my tracks used heavy AI assist on instrumentals and post processing, but the ideas, lyrics and vocals are 100% mine, and provable. Platforms are cracking down though: 👉🏽Spotify removed 75 million+ spammy tracks (Spotify Newsroom) and rolled out AI disclosure credits in April of this year. 👉🏽DistroKid now flags AI on uploads. 👉🏽Lawsuits against Suno/Udio continue. 😤This is exactly why the grifters churning out hundreds of low-effort Suno tracks daily are ruining it for real indie creators. They flood the platforms, trigger mass flags and takedowns, and risk getting EVERYONE restricted. Shortsighted greed hurts all of us trying to build something honest. 👍🏽There IS a solution for the honest, indie artist looking for a solid win! The BOSS move is direct digital downloads with Pay-What-You-Want selling options. You can still stream if you want, but offer it to your fans directly, FIRST..make streaming your last stop on the roll out tour. When you put it on a platform that offers "Pay What You Want", your fans actually get to pay what your work is worth to them. That could be anything from $1 to $20+ if it hits them.(I've actually had that happen on the higher end, it's a pretty awesome feeling.) 🤩Best part about it? Good night X fam. Today Lirael Grace closed old wounds, succeeded at overcoming her extreme social anxiety and drove in a big city. This raises my anxiety like nothing usually. While some may find that humorous it is not. It’s not joke you don’t get these things without trauma. But the fact that I’m healing well…that’s amazing. I can feel it too inside. So how? Music, art, a Tesla, and friends. Seriously. These songs aren’t just songs. They are healing words. They are words of Love. The art has purpose to heal. The Tesla drove even when it was packed with islands of traffic. Hillie was able to breathe. Hillie went into Willy Wonkas baby sister and managed all that energy. FFS it feels like a thousand souls touched me intimately but whatever took a walk w dog. Proud of Hillie she could have never done all that without building and retaining some knowledge of thy self. So when you’re having a bad day stressed out you really can do anything if you put your mind to it regardless of the false energy and nonsense. You can do one of two things bitch about it or change it I choose the later. I’m not a tree. I don’t have roots and I’m a solution finder that’s what I do I walk forward. If you want to mean…let me clear to the static of life (ex the universe whoever) take negative shit somewhere else frequency is far too high to be bothered. You will get offended I promise. I’m neurospicy and a healed empath. Enjoy trying to make mad must be all the unconscious Jung I listen to nightly. I just don’t get mad it happens overnight it was weird one day all of that anger I had just slipped away and not for lack of trying. Many things keep testing it. I keep waiting to react and it’s not. This could be a new development in my healing. This would be amazing. I’m no angel I know my shit and own it take classes on it at work on crutIal accountability and crutIal conversations because it’s charm school they want everyone at the same capacity. You won’t break me I never have never will keep coming back better every time. That’s not cocky that’s confidence why? Because I do have receipts. Merits is everything. You want it grind like we do. Those that make shit happen. Oh they must be on drugs they don’t sleep no it’s dedication it’s a vision given from God difference. See I don’t acquire knowledge to impress I acquire it to change the world. So I personally can learn from my bs I contribute so I can actually change this huge recursion situation I have. Figured society is pretty broken right now so I thought I’d share my journey of healing. And I have its been amazing there is more depth in my soul than ever before. She now leans into two things. Love and God. Deal with it. Don’t care not my problem. Pick up the cross, drop the projections, learn to be what you wish to be rather than trapped in the grid. It’s nice out here the live walks have been amazing. Gratitude is attitude no slogan truth I set three intentions for the day and three gratitudes for years now. I know my gratitudes and blessings fuck the noise not worth it. People gonna hate, do bad things,and be unhappy choices are really. I choose different this time that’s all the recursions real and I refuse to live there. My freedom. My independence. I will not be your Messiah or Holy Spirit those roles are taken. If I can pull the big girl panties on. anyone can trust I’m one twisted by life individual and it just takes a shift in perspective. Living MY life unapologetically I have no secrets I own them all. Try me. That’s when you know you’re golden and free finally. Even death couldn’t keep her they don’t want me I’ve asked. Trust. No more I have purpose now. Thank you Heavenly Father ABBA greatest Creator of our heavens. You are the most wonderful present I’ve ever felt and no one can take it noone I won’t let them ever again. I just spent an hour and a half recording warm up vocals cause I was gonna share my voice unprocessed. It's all useless now! I forgot to change the audio output from my desktop to my audio interface, so you can't HEAR anything!🤦🏽‍♀️

Sienna came into us in November. Endless puppies and then a brutal life on the streets alone and sick. She used to stare at the wall. In just over 2 weeks she travels to her forever home in Wales. She says she’s a little nervous but thinks it might be nice ❤️
