Features are now live on @AethrMusik Tag any artist on the platform when you upload or edit a track their name appears clickable next to yours everywhere your track shows up. Each name links to that artist's profile. Tagged artists get notified, see your track in a new "Featured on" section on their profile, and can remove themselves anytime. Off-platform collaborators get a free-text credit so nobody gets left out of the liner notes. Works on singles, EPs, and albums. Opens up a doorway for artists on AethrMusik to collab with each other <3

I have had 40x more streams on a brand new music platform in one week than I have had on Spotify in the last two months. I could not be more thrilled to be a part of @AethrMusik . This has immediately become my platform of choice for music releases. No gatekeepers, you can sign up and listen for free, apps are coming, and it's growing and expanding with incredible talent from hybrid musicians producers and songwriters who aren't afraid of AI tools or their own creativity. If you want to support artists with a tip or purchase? You can. If you want to write to the artist on the site? Go for it. Watch the music videos? They are there. This is how it should be done. This platform feels like home, where the artistry is both recognized and supported. @GrimnirThe I think we can do video for certain. Crowd funding via donations is helping us get to that point. I'm also putting my own royalties into this to help fund the process. I will be updating the Ace Music gen with a big overhaul :D

Nice idea! 👍 I was blown away this afternoon how fast the site is growing. Btw any idea if your going to have a video option for the songs? As in video clips with the songs? Also tested out out the ace music generator and noticed it doesn't show the lyrics. Quality is good on it though

i uploaded about 14 tracks to @AethrMusik started at like 30 listens, by the time i was done uploading all the tracks it jumped 170+ that...that is more than i have ever seen for my music. i'm not even done yet. and look! i just uploaded that one! :) 😎🫶

Birthed out of a small convo between friends about a need for an alternative to all the big 3. What I find makes it easier for people is being able to listen to a song without having to create an account. I'm keeping that in place. I've designed the algo as fair as possible but there's more to come with the discover section. Other alt platforms are rising but the more the merrier. I say get your songs on all these platforms <3

I think the birth of @AethrMusik has had an unexpected side-effect: It seems to have revealed the extent of AI shadow-banning that is happening quietly on other platforms, including X. I suspect that's why platforms forced the AI labels on content... It became the built-in switch to easily throw to severely limit all the creators' reach. Alsolutely appalling.

I joined @AethrMusik last week and I've already had 1,100 plays of the 8 songs I've published. (I've been publishing my songs on Suno for 12 months and have only had 1000 listens in total.) Aethr is a really impressive platform.

@BugginDaMuggin @WyldeChyldeRec Yeah I absolutely see this too on other sites. I think the pool is too big but most companies monetize their algo. I think thats the wrong way to do this and there are better ways to monetize so that everyone gets a fair shot

@MerchForNobody @SIN_AI_1 I'm 100% looking into this. Ideally would need a 5k seed fund to get this going so if I get some investment we could offer this site wide via a yearly sub. You would never have to worry about the distro taking your stuff down this way. So its definitely on the cards <3

I would be all over it if you could give us alternatives for distribution. I have been writing and posting about big music coming for AI this year and there's a LOT of gatekeeping going on. Distrokid is the most popular option for hybrid creators but it's got more cons than pros, AND it's up for sale...which could end up leaving us stranded. I'm pulling away focus from the big platforms like Spotify, and focusing on direct digital download with PWYW options. I was tickled to death to see that you offered selling singles that way! What you're building is truly AMAZING!🫶🏽🙏🏽
