But I can work where I want, travel around the country when I want, speak relatively freely about politics, I’m guaranteed healthcare, an 8 hour day…

This woman lost her life because she was fully gripped by years of media indoctrination that told her that she’s living in 1930s Germany and interfering with ICE is akin to fighting Hitler’s nazis. Her death is tragic for many reasons (starting with the fact that it was totally avoidable), but mostly because she sacrificed her life for a belief that isn’t real. @souljagoyteller Stalinism (as a cultural movement of Russian chauvinism) literally killed the soviet unions ideological potential and completely kneecapped it in the patriotic war.
Individually Stalin’s decision making in the war was disastrous and helped cause untold suffering.
