Don't wanna re-hash this again, but the slur is tied the most to Ethnic Black Americans. It was used to dehumanize and police Ethnic Black Americans during Chattel Slavery and Jim Crow. It was also a tool used to separate us into a separate "caste" if you will. It's essentially an American slur. Our group took that word and gave it a new meaning. It's a in-house word, and Africans are not part of that house.
