Not quite. The international slave trade was outlawed in 1808. Prior to that and after that, they were breeding/raping slaves to increase quantity, profits, and save money from importing slaves from Africa. Those people produced from that are the enslaved Black Americans, who vastly outnumbered the imported slaves. That's a large part of the reason why we have European DNA.
