Sean Baker’s “Anora” I fuckin hated this movie. The storyline itself was generic & predictable, all the characters were so horrific that you can’t actually care about them either way, and the endless chasing & shouting is more like a standard B-movie or chaotic sitcom than a great movie on any level. Hitler’s government was not actually socialist, despite the word "Socialist" appearing in the official name of the Nazi Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei or National Socialist German Workers' Party). It was a misuse of the term, probably intentional. In practice, Hitler’s regime was a far-right TOTALITARIAN system that fiercely opposed Marxist and democratic socialism, dismantled trade unions, and worked closely with wealthy capitalist industrialists. Hence the very accurate comparison to Trump and MAGA today.

Congressman @SteveScalise, are you even a conservative Republican anymore? Or are you just a MAGA bitch now? Those are regulations that should be made & managed at the STATE level, not by the federal government (#10thAmendment). That is a fundamental #GOP principle, to limit federal government overreach. Besides, you are waaaaaaaaay over simplifying the extent of that bill, as well as the reasons why people are against it. Voters are fine with showing basic everyday forms like a drivers license or state ID. But requiring a birth certificate or a passport?; those are not forms of identification that most people have, or can get easily.
