Just came across this gem: matplotlib.org/3.8.4/gallery/… Apparently #matplotlib allows you to change that minus signs are exported directly to pdf joined with the digit.. Changed way too many manually in Adobe Illustrater / Affinity Designer.. Small lifehack :D

New research from @MerkTimon @neumann_wj & collaborators demonstrate the use of brain signal decoding for neuromodulation covering key innovation domains for neurotech. across >123 h of brain signals from 70 patients who had treatment with brain implants nature.com/articles/s4155…

It will allow to study longitudinal invasive brain signals in combination with high-resolution behavior! In this way we can learn how the brain encodes diseases and behavior and how those can be used for future neuromodulation therapies!

I now joined the newly formed lab of @NicoleProvenza in Houston at @bcmhouston! I am very excited to work in this unique environment at the neurosurgery department of @SameerShethMD.

Happy to share that for me a new chapter started! I finished last year my PhD working with @neumann_wj in the @ICNeuromodulate Lab at @ChariteBerlin. It was an amazing time and I am very thankful for the working environment in that lab, the amazing supervision, great people

Super excited to announce that my preprint is finally out! Our study combines invasive electrophysiology, whole brain networks and neurotransmitter uptake to reveal a link between cortical beta and dopamine uptake in the brain. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
